Shipit24 Terms of Service

Welcome to the Shipit24.eu parcel delivery service (“the Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), which govern your use of the Service and the services provided through it.


1. General Terms

The Service is owned and operated by Swapsmart OÜ.
By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Swapsmart OÜ reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time without prior notice.


2. Parcel Delivery Service

The Shipit24 Service enables users to send parcels using multiple logistics partners and service providers.

Through the Service, users can send parcels via the following delivery methods:

  • parcel locker to parcel locker,

  • parcel locker to courier,

  • courier to parcel locker,

  • courier to courier,

  • and other similar combinations.

To create a shipment, it is sufficient to know the recipient’s mobile phone number and the destination address or parcel locker.
After confirming the order, the user receives a unique code, barcode, or waybill, which allows the parcel to be dropped off at the chosen parcel locker or handed to the selected courier.

The user confirms that the recipient has given prior consent to receive the parcel.


3. User Obligations and Conduct

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Service.
The Service must not be used for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users.

It is strictly prohibited to send the following items through Shipit24:

  • illegal drugs and narcotics,

  • explosives, flammable liquids, or gases,

  • firearms and ammunition,

  • live animals,

  • perishable goods,

  • hazardous or toxic substances,

  • counterfeit or pirated goods,

  • obscene or offensive materials,

  • cash or securities exceeding the legal limit.


4. Fees and Payments

The user agrees to pay all fees associated with the use of the Service.
The fee amount depends on the parcel’s size, weight, and destination.

All payments must be made through the Shipit24 platform.
Swapsmart OÜ reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.


5. Insurance

Shipit24 offers an optional insurance service that covers the parcel throughout the entire transportation process.
The insurance covers full or partial loss or damage of the shipment if caused by the logistics partner’s fault.

Insurance principles:

  • Insurance can be added to each shipment before confirming payment.

  • The maximum compensation amount is EUR 290.

  • No compensation will be paid if the damage results from misuse, improper packaging, prohibited contents, or natural disasters.

  • Claims are handled based on the common principles of logistics partners (such as Omniva, DPD, etc.) and Shipit24.

Shipit24 acts as an intermediary for arranging insurance through its logistics partners and is not responsible for the final compensation decision, which is made by the partner in accordance with their rules.


5.1 Claim Procedure

  1. To request compensation, the user must submit a written damage claim to info@shipit24.eu no later than 14 calendar days after the shipment has been identified as lost or damaged.

  2. The claim must include:

    • shipment number and order date,

    • description and value of the parcel contents,

    • description of the loss or damage,

    • photos of the damaged parcel and packaging (if available),

    • purchase or sales documents proving the item’s value.

  3. Shipit24 verifies the submitted information and forwards the claim to the relevant logistics partner.

  4. The logistics partner assesses the validity of the claim and makes a decision regarding compensation.

  5. The user will be notified of the decision in writing via email.

  6. If approved, the compensation will be paid to the same account from which the service was paid, no later than 30 calendar days after the logistics partner’s decision.


6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Swapsmart OÜ does not warrant that the Service will operate uninterruptedly, error-free, or in full accordance with the user’s expectations.

Swapsmart OÜ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service or from actions or omissions of third parties (such as logistics partners).


7. Indemnification

The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Swapsmart OÜ from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and legal fees arising from the user’s actions that violate these Terms or any applicable laws.


8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Any disputes arising out of or related to the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.
